Responsibilities
The Patrol Division is responsible for responding to calls for service and assistance throughout the City of Winchester. Patrol officers handle criminal complaints and traffic accidents within their assigned areas.
Patrol Units
The patrol officers employ 10-hour shifts with an overlapping schedule, which allows for complete coverage of the city during the transitions between shifts.
