The Mayor is responsible for overseeing city departments and carrying out city policies. This includes:
- Making sure city services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and fairly to all Winchester residents
- Leading long-term planning and improving how departments operate and serve the community
- Helping set community-wide goals and bringing people and resources together to achieve them
- Representing the City of Winchester when working with other cities and government agencies
